Once, in a village called Nilakottai, there was no rain for many days. The fields had all dried up, and the people were struggling to survive as they lost their livelihoods. Without water, crops failed, and people faced immense hardship in their daily lives. The elders of the village performed a prayer in the Vinayagar temple, hoping for rain to come.

The Efforts of the Young Man Janav

Janav a young man from the village, advised the people to live in harmony with nature and adopt practices to protect it. He suggested planting trees and setting up water conservation pits to protect the land. However, some people ignored his advice, dismissing it as unnecessary.

The Blessing of the Sky 

Three months passed. Janav, along with some friends, continued planting trees and managing water resources. One day, a heavy rainstorm with thunder and lightning poured down. The land soaked in water, and the fields turned green again, bringing joy to the people. The villagers, seeing Janav's efforts, began to learn from his practices.

The Necessity of Rain for Life

After the rain, the villagers came to Janav with joy. "Without rain, the world will dry up. Rain is the true nectar," said Janav, and his words enlightened everyone. The villagers realized that living in harmony with nature is the only way to ensure long-term prosperity, and they began to respect and protect nature.

We must respect nature and live in harmony with it. Rain and other natural resources are vital to life. When we engage in efforts to protect these resources, the world becomes prosperous, and people can live a well-being life.
