One day, in school, Janav learned a lesson about water. The teacher said, "We cannot survive without water. Only if we keep water clean will it rain properly." Hearing this, Janav went home and told his mother. His mother said, "If we keep our water clean, nature will bless us with rain."
2. Incident by the Riverbank
Janav went to the riverbank with his friends. There, he saw some people throwing garbage into the river. Janav felt very sad and asked, "Will the water stay clean if you throw garbage into the river?" The people were silent. Janav reported this and started cleaning the area with his friends.
3. Janav’s Mother’s Advice
Janav’s mother gave him more advice: "Rain is essential for our life. To bring rain, we must keep water clean. Without rain, even our farming will be affected." Now, Janav understood the value of water.
4. Change in People
Janav and his friends created awareness in their village. "Let’s protect water!" they chanted. The next year, Thamaraipuram received good rainfall, and farming flourished. Janav happily said, "We followed the Thirukkural, and rain has blessed us!"
